ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Economic Development Division aims to develop a thriving local economy that will support business growth, employment opportunities, high quality of life, and environmental sustainability for the community.
The Economic Development arm of Development Services includes information, tools, and resources to help support local businesses. The City's Development Services Director along with the Marshfield Area Chamber Foundation's Business Development Director develop an annual report in an effort to help bring public awareness to local economic development efforts that have recently been undertaken, are on-going, and planned for the future. This report is used by the EDB, City Council and our partner organizations as a basis for making future decisions related to economic development.The City of Marshfield has three industrial parks and seven Tax Increment Districts that are currently active or under development.
