The Marshfield Municipal Court, located within the Marshfield City Hall at 207 W. 6th Street, has a part-time Judge and a full-time Clerk. Initial appearances take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month in the City Hall Council Chambers. Pretrials are held once a month.

COVID-19
If you are experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath / difficulty breathing or if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please contact the Municipal Clerk either prior to your Court date or no later than 8:00 a.m. the day your appearance is scheduled.
The Majority of cases involve traffic, parking, and ordinance matters including first-time drunk driving offenses. Juvenile matters such as truancy, underage drinking, drug offenses and curfew violations are also a significant part of municipal court caseloads. The laws governing municipal courts include Wisconsin Statutes Chapter 755, Municipal Code and Wisconsin Statutes Chapter 800, Municipal Court Procedure.
