Register to Vote

In order to vote either in-person or absentee in an election, you must first be registered to vote.  In the State of Wisconsin, you can register to vote on the day of an election at your polling place if voting in-person.  Here are some helpful resources to help get you registered to vote.

Eligible Voters
Voting is open to U.S. Citizens  who are at least 18 years of age on the day of an election who reside at their current address at least 28 days prior to an election.

What do You Need to Register?
Before you start the registration process, you will need to have proof of ID and proof of Residence.  You can also learn more about Photo IDs and Proof of Residency requirements.
