Council votes to end wearing face masks in City buildings effective immediately.

Wednesday, April 28, 2021 - City of Marshfield Common Council voted Tuesday night to end the face mask requirement in City owned buildings effective immediately. Despite the action by the Council last night to end the face mask requirement in City buildings; police, fire, library and utility buildings are governed by their own separate boards/commissions to make a decision on wearing face masks. Please note that face masks will still be required for municipal court activities taking place in the Council Chambers at City Hall and appropriate signage will be posted for those dates.

Please understand that we may well have staff members who wish to continue wearing masks in our buildings. We ask all patrons who enter our buildings to be highly respectful of those who make this personal decision on behalf of their health and safety.
